Dropout Recovery Program
Most students don’t drop out of school because of poor grades or an inability to succeed — they leave because life circumstances force their education to become a lower priority in their lives.
At The American Academy, we understand that poor grades and poor attendance are often symptoms of much larger problems. The students with whom we work have left school because they are pregnant or parenting, because they have to work to support their families, because they are sick or caring for a sick family member, or because they felt unsafe at school.
We don’t give them a break — we give them an option.
If you want to help these students — and improve your district’s attendance and graduation rates at the same time — we can help you.
